Metro 1 Properties secures location for I in the District
Miami, FL- Metro 1 Properties’ Commercial Sales Director, Tony Arellano, secured a 1,600 sf location for I On the District, a high end eye boutique in the Design District. The deal was signed for five years with an additional five year option at a rate of $45 per square foot triple-net. I on the District will stock only the best names in the optical industry and many of the brands will be exclusive to their store. Some lines include designers such as David Yurman, Chrome Hearts, Chloe, Lanvin, Proenza Schuler, Balenciaga, Bottega Venetta, Retro Specs, Dita, Chanel, Oliver Peoples, Paul Smith, Tom Ford and Prada among a long list of others.
Personalized service, making a customer feel comfortable, offering a champagne and organic tea bar, regular invitation only events and featuring the world’s latest collections are just some of the things that set I on the District apart from your average optical retailer. Additionally, I on the District will provide private fittings and showings, an in store accessories boutique, and they will bring the best of the latest collections to a private event or to a pool cabana, should their customers desire.
I on the District will have an exclusive boutique in boutique featuring the best one of kind accessories in the market. They will carry scarves, belts, handbags, etc. featuring the latest in bohemian chic styling that will compliment any wardrobe.
International fashion is the next big step in the Design District. Interesting international brands are now finding a home in this destination and community. The Design District has used architecture and design as creative disciplines for the purpose of furthering that sense of community, in an area that brings people together for different purposes. From the foundation of art and design to the emerging interesting assortment of restaurants, each has contributed to a wonderful and under-capitalized fashion and retail shopping destination that will continue to develop and flourish. Metro 1 Properties secures location for Friends With You
Miami, FL- Metro 1 Properties’ Commercial Sales Director, Tony Arellano, has just secured a 4,400 sf location for Friends With You in the Wynwood Arts District. The deal was signed for three years with an additional three year option at a rate of $12 per square foot gross. Since the initial collaboration of FWY in 2002, Miami based duo Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III have developed FWY into a fully established multi-disciplinary creative studio capable of producing everything from initial strategies and concepts, to products and packaging, POS, print elements, full motion media (i.e. live-action, animation, stop-motion, etc.), and events.
The Wynwood Arts District, a once desolate and obsolete light manufacturing corridor, is being transformed and adaptively repurposed to house an interesting district of art and developing creative shops, in addition to progressive restaurants and lounges. The Wynwood Arts District harbors a community of forward and innovative thinkers.
