Metro 1 Properties was awarded the 2008 Green Exhibitor Award for their sustainable booth design at the USGBC’s Greenbuild Boston. The M1 Sustainable Homes™ Division started off strong with the sale of a three bedroom, three bath condominium unit at the luxurious Continuum building located south of Fifth Street in Miami Beach. The condo traded for 3.15M and closed quickly to an all-cash buyer. Metro 1 Properties will be assisting the new buyer in updating the residence with sustainable flooring, efficient lighting, fixtures and appliances, low VOC paints and other environmentally conscious upgrades. By utilizing the firm’s in-house Green Building Resource Center, the buyer was able to select from a wide variety of sustainable samples and start the updates quickly.
